The British band’s laid-back charm can be found in their definitive sound through a blend of reggae, ska, rock and even house music. With Will Rendle’s effortless vocal prowess -maturing with the release of their new album Morning Sun- coupled by the band’s knack of getting everyone from the paying patrons to the barman involved, expect to have your pizza while dancing through their slot at Timbre.

My Musical Diary - Natalie Hiong
Esplanade Concourse l Free
Feb 16-17, 7.15pm & 8.15pm

Having played everywhere from New York’s The Bitter End to London’s The Cobden Club and Hugh’s Room in Toronto, the banker turned singer-songwriter has garnered a growing number of following for her peachy vocals and pop compositions. Fresh from the release of her debut EP Little Heart, catch the spellbinding singer, set to be Singapore’s best female export since Tanya Chua, Shirlyn Tan and Inch Chua.

Thomas Gold

Whatever Thomas touches turns to gold. With an ear in producing some of the biggest remixes around, the German DJ-producer has helped bangers like Moguai’s “We Want Your Souls”, Hard Rock Sofa & St Brothers “Blow Up” and Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain” to reach prominent dance chart success.

John Digweed
Avalon l $38 from TicketBooth
Feb 17, 10pm

The pioneering progressive house DJ is synonymous with bringing his driving and melodic four-to-the-floor globally, contributing to widespread adoration for the sound in the late 90s. With Sasha mentoring him to greater heights back then, these days the English jock is seen holding his own fort from threading the top 10 spot on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ poll for 10 years in a row and recently released Structures Two on his own label, Bedrock Records.

Poptart 7th Anniversary
Velvet Underground – Dance l $25/32 includes two drinks

Loop feat. DJ Bone
Home Club l $18 includes one drink
Feb 18, 9pm

Regarded as a true underground DJ, Eric Dulan aka DJ Bone has been purveying the sound of Detroit techno much like how staunch religious figures protect and preach the sacred nature of their holy texts. His anomaly exposed from his vinyls and his method of deliverance comes from his work on the fader –known to be an experience that have kept revellers rooted on the floor for hours on end.

ONE 9th Anniversary with Aldrin

Feb 18, 10pm

One of Singapore’s forefathers of electronic dance music, Aldrin requires no lengthy introduction. Having played everywhere from Miami to Dubai and Ibiza to Kazakhstan, the versatile DJ-producer is undoubtedly the city’s finest export. Celebrating close to a decade of his famed ONE nights, the deck maestro returns to his home ground to exhibit his energetic and staple fist-to-the-air sets.

Fans of his jazz-pop compositions and soulful voice can catch him at the Esplanade as he belts out songs from his well-received releases.

Smack My Beach Up feat. Pete Herbert & Stuart Mclellan
Tanjong Beach Club l Free
Feb 19, 3pm

For some revellers, Sundays at Tanjong Beach Club is considered as a perennial post-party jaunt. Not to deny them the luxury of basking in the sun within a multi-outlet complex and surrounded by half-naked people, TBC takes it up a notch with two English jocks dropping their brand of disco flavoured house.
