Li Lykke Timotej Zachrisson goes by the stage name of Lykke Li which is easier on the ear. But the 25-years-old Swedish indie pop sensation has always been easy on the ear with her distinctive melodious and child-like vocal prowess. A mash of Adele, Florence Welch and occasionally up in Janis Joplin’s alley, the singer-songwriter blend of indie rock layered through electronica sensibilities has gotten her heavy appraisals especially after her 2008 debut album Youth Novels and the recent Wounded Rhymes.
